Touchstar onboard Fuel Delivery Systems bring together powerful software and ATEX-certified TouchPC hardware, for a simple in-cab solution.

This on-board in cab computing system provides the following functions:

·         Wireless receipt of orders from Refine, for both loading and delivering

·         On-board integration with metering equipment and complete vehicle information in suitably equipped trucks

·         Delivery and loading confirmation with recipients signing electronically at the point of delivery. Receipts can be printed locally, and signatures and delivery confirmation are recorded in real time and wirelessly uploaded to Refine

·         Wireless receipt of delivery point information and site information from Refine, with the ability for a driver to enhance the data received: for example, replacing a site postcode with a precise GPS position when on-site

·         GPS tracking option with feedback to Refine allowing customer service users to track deliveries in real time

·         Safety Alerts can be recorded by drivers in real time for wireless upload into Refine

·         Drivers can spot sales opportunities whilst on the road and these are wirelessly transmitted and uploaded into Refine

Oilband provides systems for both tank gauging and loading control.

The tank gauging system offers level monitoring & reporting package, using an on-site PC connected to a display unit located outside. The instruments located in the product tanks are also connected to the PC via a link.

An interface unit is provided for the driver and gives current tank volume details. The unit also drives an alarm sounder and beacon in the event of a high level trip point being reached.

On a PC, the software package polls the probes periodically, records level changes and then displays the data to the system user in a number of configurable formats, including a dynamic trend graph format that allows operators to browse through historical records with ease.

The system allows production of reports, which are configurable to meet the individual requirements of the company up to and including complete, automatic, reconciliation reports.

Reports include:

• Opening stock balances
• Total tank receipts
• Total meter throughput
• Closing stock balances
• All losses and gains on a tank, stock or client basis

The loading control system is a solution for distributors who want to move from manual loading to an automated system or who want to upgrade an existing non-integrated system to a fully integrated equivalent.

The system is based on the concept of loading authorisations and offers the following features:

• Authorisation of load content
• Management of collections
• Application of loading restrictions
• Single and multi-parcel (multi-compartment/pot) loads
• Open loading plans

Oilband’s systems provide near-real-time feeds of tank levels at local or remote sites into Refine, making daily stock reconciliation a practical proposition reducing stock leakage and loss – this alone can pay for the system month-on-month.

Load control through Oilband can be driven from Refine, so that planned loads are transmitted from Refine directly to Oilband loading control systems thus further reducing the need for paperwork, increasing agility and reducing the likelihood of error.

Refine passes credit-released and some credit-pending orders seamlessly to Optitool allowing earlier and more flexible planning – especially when combined with earlier left-on-board data from TouchStar.

Optitool allows traditional planning methods to be easily transplanted into an electronic environment, easing its introduction to users.
